Hi ,

Principal ( p ) = Rs 25000

Rate of interest ( r ) = 8%

Time ( T ) = 2 years

Number of times interest paid ( n ) = 2

Amount ( A ) = p ( 1 + r/100 )^n

A = 25000 [ 1 + 8/100 ]²

= ( 25000 × 108 × 108 )/( 100 × 100)

= ( 25 × 108 × 108 )/ 10

= Rs 29160

Interest = A - P

= 29160 - 25000

= Rs 4160

I hope this helps you.

Answer:

Amount He gets back = Rs. 29160

Step-by-step explanation:

Price = p = Rs. 25000

Rate of interest = r = 8% compounded annually

Time = n = 2 years

Amount = p (1 + %r / 100) ^ n

Amount = 25000 (1 + 8/100)^2

Amount = 25000 (100/100 + 8/100)^2

Amount = 25000 (108/100)^2

Amount = 25000 (1.08)^2

Amount = 25000 (1.1664)

Amount = Rs. 29160/-

At the end of 2nd year, The amount he receives is  Rs. 29160/-
