There are 70 girls in school.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the number of boys be x

We are given that The number of girls is 14 2/7% of the number of boys

No. of girls = 14\frac{2}{7}\%x=\frac{100}{700}x

We are given that School has 560 students.

So,x+\frac{100}{700}x=560

\frac{800}{700}x=560

x=\frac{560 \times 700}{800}=490

No, of girls = Total No. of students - No. of boys = 560-490=70

Hence There are 70 girls in school.
