Schools are one of the most valuable things made in history. Schools are now a great deal in shaping a child to it's highest potential. Although there are several reasons why it can be a boon as well as a bane. Schools teach us a lot about the real world as we grow up.
The situation today is that students learn 60% by the influence of their friends and only 40% is actually from the formal education of school. Great leaders of the modern world such as Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates are all not very supportive of formal education. In fact, a plenty of these were dropouts. They somehow managed to grab their true potential in a particular field of interest and are now the masters in that. Bill Gates made a computer, what the majority of the urban population these days have in their houses. Warren Buffet made his career through the stock market.
So, as a conclusion, we are righteous in stating that a child can shape his future only by his own self. It depends on the child that whatever he is being provided by his family, friends and school should be properly utilised by him or not. There are those students who just want to complete their education just for the sake of being educated whilst some consider it as a golden opportunity to make their dreams come true. Henceforth, School is the ultimate temple of knowledge.
