Answer: Molarity = no.of moles of solute/volume of soln in L Volume=100 mL =0.1L Molarity= 0.5 Therefore no of moles of solute = 0.5*0.1=0.05 ie, required mass/molecular mass =0.05 (Mol.mass of na2co3=105.98 g/mol) Required mass= 0.05*105.98=5.29 g
