sec^2x-tan^2x=1
=(sec x + tan x)(sec x -tan x)=1
---=p(sec x - tan x ) =1
---(sec x - tan x ) = 1/p........(1)
---(sec x +tan x)=p.........(2)
___by solving (1) and (2) ____
we get sec x= 1/2(p+1/p).
OR cos x = 2p/(p^2 + 1)
_____now you can find sin x by aaplying formula sin^x+ cos^x =1...(putting the value of cos x).................hope it helps
