A-1: Read the following passage and answer the following questions: (3)
Sportsmanship means working in tandem to achieve a common goal. It also means
team spirit which teaches us the qualities of punctuality, discipline, co-operation and
obedience. Sportsmanship is to see how the goal can be achieved, and not who has
achieved it. Sportsmanship also does not demands that they should question their
captain in any circumstances for he knows what is best for the team.
Questions:
1. What does sportsmanship teach us?
2. How should a sportsman behave after losing or winning the match?
3. Why should a sportsman not question his captain?
