R equivalent = 2 + 6 + R = 8 R .

★ Voltage ( V ) = Current ( I ) × resistance ( R ) .

10 V = 2 × ( 8 R )

10 = 16 R

★ Resistance ( R ) = 10 / 16 = 5 / 8 = 0.6 Ω ohms .
