Answer❀✿°᭄

This answer is a small tribute to the martyrs who sacrifice their life for this country without thinking a second thought.

Now come to the question as it has mentioned 14th feb. Basically 14th feb is popularly remembered because of Valentine’s Day(a holy day for couples) and we can see many unauthorised messages on social media that Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Rajguru were hanged on this date in the year 1931 and it must be noted here that they were not hanged on 14th feb, these claims are baseless as Bhagat Singh was hanged on 23 March, 1931 as per my knowledge. So please refrain from these kinds of fake messages.

When couples were celebrating Valentine's Day in 2019, and our soldiers were guarding our borders for our safety. An explosion took place in Jammu Kashmir’s Pulwama district on 14th feb. A CRPF convoy was attacked by a suicide bomber on the Srinagar-Jammu highway in J&K’s Pulwama district. It was said to be the worst-ever terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir since militancy erupted in 1989. The Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) had claimed responsibility for the attack and had also released a video clip of the suicide bomber. 40 CRPF personnel martyred and many critically wounded and left us with a memory that can not be forgotten. Initial investigations suggested the car was carrying more than 300 kilograms (660 lb) of explosives, including 80 kilograms (180 lb) of RDX, a high explosive, and ammonium nitrate. Retired Lt. Gen Hooda said that the explosives might have been stolen from a construction site. He initially said that it was not possible that they were smuggled from across the border, but later said that he could not rule it out. Unfortunately, after many rounds of investigations by our security agencies, we have no clue that how can such a huge consignment of explosives entered into our territory, or if it was from our country itself then who was responsible for that? We have no answers to these questions.

This is the reason 14th feb is a black day for India.

Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
