Sharad bought one quintal of onion for rupees 2000. Later he sold them at the rate of rupees 18 per kg .did he make a profit or loss. And how much was it?

Cp of 1 quintal onion=2000₹

As we know 1 quintal =100kg

And he sold the one kg onion at rate of 18/kg

So Sp of 100kg / 1 quintal =18x100=1800

Cp>sp= loss

He made loss

And loss=cp-sp

Loss=2000-1800=₹200
