when we put acetone , petrol or perfume on our palm , it evaporates . During evaporation , perticles of the liquid absorb energy from the surface of the palm to compensate for the lose of energy , making the surrounding cool . hence it makes your palm cool

the boiling point of the substance is the temperature at which the vapour pressure of a liquid equals the pressure surrounding the liquid and the liquid change into vapour

when liquid starts boiling at a certain temp. then it is called boiling point.

when solid starts melting at a certain atmospheric pressure then it is
