Ramayana is a book written by Valmiki. It is an Indian epic poem that explains to us the struggle of the benevolent and audacious Prince Ram to rescue his wife Sita from the clutches of the evil and malicious King Ravan. There is a lot to learn from the Ramayana. Many ethical values to learn. The main characters of this epic are:Ram, Lakshman, Bharat,Shatrughna, Sita, Janak Maharaj, Dashrath Maharaj,Kaikai, Koushalya, Sumitra, Urmila, Mandhavi, Shruthkirti, Manthara. It also teaches us to have our own originality, since, Kaikai committed a sin by getting influenced by Manthara and doing as she asked her to. Ram was asked to live in the forest for 14 years. He quietly went away without making a fuss. This means he was very obedient. We need to learn to be obedient from Lord Ram. Lord Ram was also generous, compassionate, brave, reverential and humble. Devi Sita was brave, gentle, respectful and loving. Ram and Sita were in very good terms with each other. They're the best example of a perfect couple. But Devi Sita refused to come back when Lord Ram sent her to the forest for the second time. She went along with her mother and never returned. That means we need to have self-respect. Lord Ram's sons Luv and Kush were coronated. This was the end of Ramayana.
