Colour is a property of light as seen by people. The british spelling of the word is colour, the word color is used in American English.

The most common colour names are:
Black, Gray/Grey, White, Red, OrangeYellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown, 
Magenta, Cyan, Olive, Maroon, Navy, Aquamarine, Turquoise, Silver, Lime, 
TealIndigo, Violet, Pink
