Unemployment -The person who is willing and able to do the work but unable to find it is called as Unemployment.
1.JOBLESS GROWTH: GDP During the first three decades of economic planning the GDP GROWTH rate was as low as 3.5% per annum.In this period employment increased at a reasonable rate of 2% per annum.
2.INCREASE IN LABOUR FORCE: The rate of the labour force in India was increased 1.9% due to 2.2% population growth rate during the period of 1993.But the economy was failed to create enough Employment opportunities for growing labor force.
3.INAPPROPRIATE TECHNOLOGY: As a labor surplus and capital scarce country, India labor intensive techniques, But the wide range use of capital intensive techniques in agriculture and industries sector are creating unemployment problem.
4.INAPPROPRIATE EDUCATION SYSTEM: The Education system in India is defective Gunnar murder India’s Educational policy does not aim at the development of human resources.But it is producing millions of unskilled educated labor force in India.
5.NEO-LIBERAL ECONOMY POLICY: The New Economic reforms introduced in India during 1990’s increased demand constraints recession and finally resulted in unemployment.
