If 3x - 2 is a factor, then 3x - 2 = 0 ⇒ x = 2/3 should satisfy the equation

3x² - 20x+12 = 3(4/9) - 40/3 + 12 = 0

So, it is a factor of 3x² - 20x+12

Hello Dear!!!

Here's your answer...

f(x) = (3x+x-20x+12x)

g(x) = 3x-2

zero of g(x) =

3x-2 = 0

3x=2

x= 2/3

substitute the value of x in f(x)

(3x+x-20x+12x)

( 3*2/3 + 2/3 - 20*2/3 + 12*2/3)

(2 + 2/3 - 40/3 + 4*2)

(2 + 2/3 - 40/3 + 8)

LCM is 3

(6/3 + 2/3 - 40/3 + 24/3)

(-8/3)

Its not a factor of (3x+x-20x+12x)

But if ur question is (3x^2-20x+12)

then

substitute value of x

(3×4/9 - 20*2/3 + 12)

(4/3 - 40/3 + 36/3)

(0/3)

0.

so...it is a factor...

I think so ur question is wrong because I have tried for question... but it is not a factor...
and then I took the form of ax^2+bx+c...then its correct...
