Show that the limiting value of the angle of prism is twice its critical angle? Hence define critical angle?

Angle of prism= A = r1 + r2

in case when i1 = i2 = 90 degrees

than r1 = r2 = C

c = critical angles

so, A = C + C

A = 2C

while the critical angle is defined as the angle of refraction when a ray of light enters from on side and refracts and comes out from the other side of the prism
