In right angled triangle one angle is 90°.
Let a = 8 cm, b = 15 cm, c = 17 cm
By Pythagoras theorem,
c^2 = a^2 + b^2
17^2 = 8^2 + 15^2
289 = 64 + 225
289 = 289
Hence it is right angled triangle.
