Hlw mate!❣️

Second equation of motion is:- S = ut+1/2at^2

Derivation:-

We know that,

Average velocity = u+v/2..........eq. (i)

Distance travelled = Average velocity × time

S = v with bar × t..............eq. (ii)

Using eq. (i) and (ii), we obtain........

S = (u+v/2)×t

From equation (I) of motion i.e., v = u+at

Using it in equation (ii),

S = (u+at+u/2)×t

S = (2u+at/2)×t

S = 2ut+at^2/2

S = 2ut/2+1/2 at^2

_______________

S = ut+1/2at^2.........Proved!
