This is taken from the “Merchant of Venice” written by William Shakespeare. This is seen from the court case were Portia defends Antonio as his lawyer against the demand of the pound of flesh by Shylock.

Antonio is a defaulter, and the agreement between him and Shylock was a pound of flesh to be cut from Antonio’s body for defaulting.

But Portia argued there should not be any blood while cutting the flesh and that stood against Shylocks demands. By saying the given statement, Portia says Shylock will not get anything.
