Side of 2 square is in the ratio of 8:9. Find the ratio of their area

Let the square 1 be of the side 8x;
Let the square 2 be of the side 9x;

area \: of \: square \:  = ( {side})^{2}
so,

area \: of \: sq. \: 1 \:  =  \:  {(8x)}^{2} \\ area \: of \: sq. \: 2 \:  =  \:  {(9x)}^{2}
Ratio of sq.1 : sq.2 will be,
  = \frac{ {(8x)}^{2} }{ {(9x)}^{2} }  \\  =  \frac{64}{81}  \\
Ratio will be 64:81
