Difference:
1)Mitochondria is power house of the cell whereas plastids are the kitchen of the cell.
2)Mitochondria release energy in form of ATP
whereas plastids stores food .
3)Plastids occur only in plant and algae cells, but mitochondria are found in all eukaryotic cells.

Similarities:

1)Both are double membraned structure.
2)Both contain RNA and DNA.
3)Both can produce their own copies by division.

OK..

difference between plastids and mitochondria are:
1.plastids are the specialised organelles present in the plants cell mostly synthesis and stores food material.
2.there are thrre types of plastids 1.chrompoplasts2.chloroplasts 3.leucoplasts
mitochondria- 1.it is known as power house of the cell.2.mithochondria helps in the oxidation of glucose.
similarities:1.they both are bounded double membrane and have own gagnetic material
2.they both have porin protein which makes outer layers more permeable.
3they have double membrane bounded organelles. I hope it will help U dr .☺️
