Aerobic Respiration:
It takes place in the presence of Oxygen.
End products are CO2 & H2O.
The process occurs inside the living cells.

Anaerobic Respiration:
It takes place in the absence of Oxygen.
End products are ethanol & CO2.
The process often toxic to both plants & animals.

The difference between aerobic and anaerobic respiration are :-

1. The respiration which takes place in presence of oxygen is known as aerobic respiration whereas the respiration which takes place in absent of oxygen is known as anareobic respiration.

2. In the aerobic complete broke down of glucose takes place whereas incomplete broke down takes place in case of anaerobic respiration.

3. More energy produce in case of aerobic respiration but less energy produce in case of anaerobic respiration.

4. The product of aerobic respiration is carbondioxide whereas the product of anaerobic respiration is ethanol.

5. Aerobic Occurs in mitochondria of a cell but anaerobic occurs in cytoplasm of a cell.
