Simultaneous Equations - Substitution Method.

I can solve linear simultaneous equations algebraically using substitution.

Solve the following simultaneous equations using substitution, then use your answers to decode the secret message.

Y = 4x - 6

Y = x + 3

5)

A + b = 4

A = 2b + 7

K = 3j + 4

K = j - 2

6)

2q + 16 = 3p

Q = -p + 2

N = 8m + 2

N = -2m - 8

7)

3c - 5 = 8d - 24

C = 2d - 6

F = 2e - 2

F = 4e - 10

8)

5x - 4 = 2y + 17

-2x + 1 = y - 20
