by chain rule...

for eg ..if we differentiate sin6x

ie ... d sin6x = cos 6x × d 6x

dx dx

= cos 6x (6)

first we differentiate sin term... and then also the term inside sine angle...

similar way... here we have (a+1)x inside sine angle...by chain rule we have to differentiate that too...

d sin(a+1)x + d sinx

dx dx

= cos (a+1)x × d (a+1)x + cosx

dx

= cos(a+1)x × (a+1) + cosx

= (a+1) cos(a+1)x + cosx
