The sine function is positive in the first and second quadrants. To find thesecond solution, subtract the reference angle from ππ to find the solution in thesecond quadrant.

x=(3.14159265)−0.33983690

hey user,
______________________________
take the inverse sines of both sides of the equation to extract x from inside the sines.

x= arcsin(1/3)

evaluate arcsin (1/3) to get 0.33983690

x= 0.33983690

the sin function is positive in the first and second solution, subtract the reference Angle from π to find the solution in the second quadrant.

x=(3.14159265)-0.33983690

expressions 3.14159265

x= 3.14159265-0.33983690

subtract 0.33983690 from 3.14159265
to get,

x=2.80175574
