sin48 sec42 + cos48 cosec 42= 2

sin48=sin(90-42)

=cos42

cos48=cos(90-42)

=sin42

substituting the value

(cos42×sec42)+(sin48×cosec48)

=1+1 (since cosa×seca=1,sina×coseca=1)

=2
