Solution:

Selling price of the Scooty (s.p) = Rs28000


Brokerage( d ) = 5/2 % of s.p

= ( 5/2 )× 1/100 × 28000

= Rs 700

Therefore ,

Agent commission ( d ) = Rs700

Amount Sindhu get = s.p - d

= Rs28000 - Rs700

= Rs27300
