A single party system is that party system where a single party works and function.For example China .
A multiparty system is a system where more than two parties function and each party has a fair chance of winning election.

=> In this form, public will not be given a fair chance
=> Since only one party competes, it will rule entire country
Ex:China, Vietnam
Multi party
=>People are given fair choice of choosing their leaders
=> More than 1 political parties compete in elections and ruling party forms the govt
