solar power is better to use than the thermal power do you agree with the statement why

yes I am agree with this statement because thermal power plant use coal to produce electricity which causes the exhaust of our coal and as we know that formation of coal took thousands of years and solar power plant use the natural things like sunlight to produce energy which will never exhaust that's why solar power is better to use than the thermal power.
