In soda water solvent is water and solute is carbondioxide.

The solvent in soda water is water because it says "a sealed bottle of soda water contains carbon dioxide gas DISSOLVED in water", and if the carbon dioxide gas dissolved in the water that means it's the solvent in soda water. The solute is carbon dioxide gas.
