Answers:

1) Area of the rectangle = 80.75sq.m.(given)

Now, Area=l×b

So, 80.75=9.5×b

or, b=80.75/9.5

or, b= 8.5 m

2) Let the numbers be a and b.

Here a= 9.5

We are given that,

a×b = 128.25

or, 9.5×b = 128.25

or, b = 128.25/9.5

or, b = 13.5

3) The cost of 5.5 kg apples = ₹464.75

So,

The cost of 1 kg apples = ₹(464.75/5.5)

= ₹ 84.5

4) Cost of 1.2 kg of sugar = ₹40.80

So,

The cost of sugar per kg = ₹(40.80/1.2)

= ₹ 34

Step-by-step explanation:

1)Area=80.75sq m

Length=9.5

Breadth=x

Area=length ×breadth

Breadth=area ÷length

B=80.75÷9.5

By division you will get your answer=

8.5

2)Product=128.25

One number=9.5

Other number=x

Product=one number ×other number

So,

Other number=product ÷one number

Other number=128.25÷9.5

By division you will get your answer=

13.5

3)Cost of 5.5kg apples=464.75

Cost of one kg apples=464.75÷5.5

By division you will get your cost of one kg apples=

84.5rupees

4)Cost of1.2kg sugar=40.80

Cost of per kg sugar=40.80÷1.2

By division you will get your cost of per kg sugar=

34rupees
