solve 2x+y=5and3x-y=15​

2x+y=5--------> first equation

3x-y=15--------> second equation

putting both the equations:

2x+y=5

3x-y=15

(adding because minus minus is plus)

5x=20

x=4

putting the value of x

(2*4)+y=5

8+y=5

y= 5-8

y=(-3)
