Solve 2x-y=8 and 2x +y =4 by substitution, equating co-efficient and cross multiplication method​

Answer:

2x-y=8 _____eq( 1)

2x +y=4_____ eq(2)

X=8+y/2

put the value of X in eq (2)

=2(8+y/2)+y=4

=16+2y+2y=8

= 8=-4y

=-2=y

put the value of y in eq (1)

=2x-(-2)=8

=2x+2=8

=2x=6

=X=3
