 Given \: pair \: of \: equations :

 3x - 5y = 19 \: ---(1)

 and \: -3x + 3y = -1 \: ---(2)

/* Add Equations (1) and (2) , we get */

 \implies -2y = 18

 \implies y = \frac{18}{-2}

 \implies y = -9

/* Put y = -9 in equation (1) ,we get */

 3x - 5(-9) = 19

 \implies 3x + 45 = 19

 \implies 3x  = 19 - 45

 \implies 3x = - 26

 \implies x = \frac{-26}{3}

Therefore.,

 \green { x = \frac{-26}{3} \:and \: y = -9 }
