Solve 3x square -14x-5=o by factorization

$3 {x}^{2} - 14x - 5 = 0$

$= > 3 {x}^{2} - 15x + x - 5 = 0$

$= > 3x(x - 5) + 1(x - 5) = 0$

$= > (3x + 1)(x - 5) = 0$

CASE 1

$3x + 1 = 0$

$= > 3x = - 1$

$= > x = \frac{ - 1}{3}$

CASE 2

$x - 5 = 0$

$= > x = 5$

therfore x has two values i.e.

$\frac{ -1 }{3} and \: 5$
