Let one number be x
Another becomes 7x
If 15 is added to both the numbers
=>(x+15)×5/2=(7x+15)
5 (x+15)=2 (7x+15)
5x+75=14x+30
14x-5x=75-30
9x=45
x=5
=>7x=7(5)=35

.°. The two numbers are 5,35

Hi ,

Let the first number = x

Second number = 7x

If 15 is added to the both numbers ,

New numbers are ,

First new number = x + 15

Second new number = 7x + 15

According to the problem given ,

(5/2 )( First new number) = ( second new number)

(5 /2 )(x + 15) = ( 7x + 15 )

5( x + 15 ) = 2( 7x + 15 )

5x + 75 = 14x + 30

75 - 30 = 14x - 5x

45 = 9x

45 / 9 = x

5 = x

Therefore ,

first number = x = 5

Second number = 7x

= 7 × 5

= 35

Required numbers are 5 and 35

I hope this helps you.

:)
