Hi ,
Arrenging the data in ascending
order
7 , 9 , 10 , 11 , 12 , 16
Number of terms ( n ) = 6 ( even )
Median = average of n/2 and (n/2+
1)th terms
= Avg ( 6/2 ) and ( 6/2 + 1 )the terms
= Avg of 3rd and 4th terms
= ( 10 + 11 ) /2
= 21 / 2
= 10.5
Therefore ,
Median = 10.5
I hope this helps you.

Hello friend

Arranging in ascending order:
7,9,10,11,12,16
N = 6 (even)
Median = (N/2)th term + ( N/2 + 1)th term divided by 2
= ( 6/2)th term + ( 6/2 + 1 )th term divided by 2
= 3th term + 4th term divided by 2
= 10 + 11 divided by 2
= 21/2
= 10.5
