2x=5y+4
3x-2y+16=0
=5y + 4 =2x
3x-2y+16=0
= 2x (3x-2y+16)=0(5y+4)
3x-2y+16=0
=5y + 4 =2x
3x-2y+16=0
= 2x (3x-2y+16)=0(5y+4)

We know if we have equation : a1 x + b1 y + c1 = 0 and a2 x + b2 y + c2 = 0
So, from cross multiplication method we know :
x = ( b1c2 − b2c1 )( a1b2 − a2b1 ) and y = ( c1a2 − c2a1 )( a1b2 − a2b1 )
Here we have equations : 2 x - 5 y - 4 = 0 and 3 x - 2 y + 16 = 0
So,
a1 = 2 , b1 = - 5 , c1 = - 4 and a2 = 3, b2 = - 2 , c2 = 16
Then ,
x = ((− 5)×16 − (− 2)×(− 4) )( 2× (− 2) −3 × (− 5) ) = ( − 80 −8 )( − 4 + 15 )= − 88 11= − 8
And
y = ((− 4)×3 − 16×2 )( 2× (− 2) −3 × (− 5) ) = ( − 12 −32 )( − 4 + 15 )= − 44 11= − 4
So,
x = - 8 and y = - 4
