Given:

6(ax+by)= 3a+2b

6(bx -ay)=3b-2a

To find:

Solution to the equations

Answer:

1.Solve each of the following system of  equations by the method of cross- multiplication.

2.Equations are

6(ax+by)= 3a+2b

6(bx -ay)=3b-2a

3 .By rearranging these equations we get,

6ax +6b y-(3a+2b)=0

6bx-6a y -(3b-2a) =0

4 .By cross multiplication method we get values as,

x = 1/2, y =1/3
