Solve for x

\frac{1}{1000} = 10^{x}

║⊕ANSWER⊕║

GIVEN

\frac{1}{1000} = 10^{x}

The no: of zeroes present in 1000 = 3

\frac{1}{1000} = 10^{-3}

( Negative sign arises due to reciprocal)

∴ x = 10⁻³

Answer:

Given that

1/1000 = 10^{x}

to find x.

1/1000 can be written as :-

                                              1^{3}/10^{3}

                                         =  (1/10)^{3}

                                         =  1/10^{3}

this also have a special way to write:-

                                                            10^{-3}

so

according to the question,

                                             10^{-3} = 10^{x}

comparing both sides, we get that :-

                                                           x = -3

hence the value of x is -3.
