solve it 2-(3x-8)/5-(4x-9)=1/2

=> (2-3x+8)/(5-4x+9) = 1/2
=> (10-3x) / (14-4x) = 1/2
=> 20-6x = 14-4x
=> 6 = 2x
=> x=3
