The question is interesting and some what hypothetical too.

As far as I know, A human won't feel hungry when he's sleeping . If he's hungry, he isn't sleeping it means he's on a small nap or disturbed sleep.

Well, that doesn't matter here as the question is not regarding that.

Let's recall the question.

A man is sleeping and he gets hungry in the fridge, There are bologna, cheese, butter.

So what will the guy open first. Usually ,We think that he would open the which is his favorite in cheese, butter , bologna

Someone who is a beginner in solving would think like the above. People who know something, would think he would open the door of fridge first.

But he will open his eyes first. As he's sleeping, his eyes are closed.

Therefore, The man would open his eyes first.
