1.When a solution of potassium iodide is added to the solution of lead nitrate then lead iodide and potassium nitrate is formed.
Pb(NO3)2 (l)+ 2KI (l) -> PbI2S) + 2KNO3(l)
The type of reaction is the double displacement reaction.
2. While reduction of Copper oxide Carbon is added to form carbon dioxide and copper.
2CuO+ C -> 2Cu + CO2
Therefore the Copper is reduced and Carbon is oxidised therefore the reducing agent is Carbon and oxidising agent is copper oxide.
