TO FIND VALUE OF P AND Q

Rationalise the following equation

we get,

7 + 3√5 / 3 + √5 X 3 - √5 / 3 - √5 -

7 - 3√5 / 3 - √5 X 3 + √5 / 3 + √5

on solving the equation we get,

6 + 2√5 - 6 + 2√5 / 4

4√5 / 4

√5 = p + q√5

Therefore,

p = 0

q = 1
