Solution:-

Case l

There are three headphones.

→ 1 headp. + 1 headp. + 1 headp. = 30

→ 3 headphones = 30

→ 1 headphone = 30/3

1 headphone = 10 ------- Equation (1)

Case 2

There are 1 headphone, 2 speakers.

→ 1 headp. + 1 speaker + 1 speaker = 18

→ 10 + 2 speakers = 18

→ 2 speakers = 18 - 10

→ 2 speakers = 8

→ 1 speaker = 8/2

1 speaker = 4 ------- Equation (2)

Case 3

There are 1 speaker & 1 locket.

→ 1 speaker - 1 locket = 2

→ 4 - 1 locket = 2

→ 4 - 2 = 1 locket

1 locket = 2 ------- Equation (3)

Case 4 (Last one!)

There are 1 speaker, 1 locket & 1 headphone.

Putting values from (Eq.1) , (Eq.2) & (Eq.3)

→ 1 speaker + 1 locket + 1 headp. = ??

→ 4 + 2 + 10 = ??

→ 16 = ??

→ 16

x + x + x = 30

→ 3x = 30

→x = 30/3

→x = 10 ......(1)
