Uniform acceleration :-When an object travels equal distance in equal intervals of time, it is said to be uniform motion and in it, velocity of a body changes by equal amount in equal intervals of time called uniform acceleration.

Eg:-Motion of a body falling freely under gravity.

Non-uniform acceleration :-When an object does not travels equal distance in equal intervals of time, it is said to be Non-uniform motion and in it, velocity of a body changes by unequal amount in equal intervals of time called Non-uniform acceleration.

Eg:-Motion of a car on a highway through city limit.
