Step-by-step explanation:

2(3+2)=7

2(3x+2)=72(3x+2)=7

Solve

How to do it:-

Distribute

2(3+2)=7

92786}{2(3x+2)}}=72(3x+2)=7

6+4=7

92786}{6x+4}}=76x+4=7

2

Next step:-

Subtract

4

44

 from both sides of the equation

6+4=7

6x+4=76x+4=7

6+4−4=7−4

6x+4 92786}{-4}}=7 92786}{-4}}6x+4−4=7−4

3

Simplify

4

Divide both sides of the equation by the same term

6=3

6x=36x=3

66=36

Required answer:-

  • 36

Hope it helps you mate:)

{2 (3x + 2) = 7}

-Open the brackets first.
-Solve the the equation afterwards.

Sol/-

2 (3x + 2) = 7
=> (2 . 3x) + (2 . 2) = 7
=> 6x + 4 = 7
=> 6x = 7 - 4
=> 6x = 3
=> x = 3/6
=> x = 1/2

-Exchange the value of ‘x’ with it’s solution and check whether the value is correct. However, if the value of ‘x’ doesn’t give the the number in the R.H.S, then your answer could possibly be wrong.

x = 1/2

ATQ- {2 (3x + 2) = 7}

=> 2 (3(1/2) + 2) = 7
=> 2 (3/2 + 2) = 7
=> 2 (7/2) = 7
=> 7 = 7
Therefore, L.H.S = R.H.S
Hence, your answer is x = 1/2

Hope this explanation helps. Good luck! Borahae.
