solve the equation
 \frac{p  +  1}{p - 1} =  \frac{2p + 3}{2p - 5}

EXPLANATION.

⇒ [(p + 1)/(p - 1)] = [(2p + 3)/(2p - 5)].

As we know that,

We can write equation as,

⇒ (p + 1)(2p - 5) = (2p + 3)(p - 1).

⇒ 2p² - 5p + 2p - 5 = 2p² - 2p + 3p - 3.

⇒ 2p² - 3p - 5 = 2p² + p - 3.

⇒ 2p² - 2p² - 3p - p - 5 + 3 = 0.

⇒ - 4p - 2 = 0.

⇒ 4p = - 2.
