2(x-3)=7
2x-6=7
2x=7+6
2x=13
x=13/2
x=6.5
So, value of the x is 6.5

hey mate!
since, 2(x-3) = 7
so,. 2x -6 = 7
2x. = 7+6
2x. = 13
x. = 13÷2
x = 6.5
