p+7/p-6=1/3
=> 3 (p+7) =(p-6) 1
=> 3p + 21 = p - 6
=> 3p - p= - 6-21
=> 2p= -27
=> p= -27/2
Verifying:
LHS = p+7/p-6 =( -27/2 + 7)/(-27/2-6)
= (-13/2)/(-39/2)
= 13/39 =1/3 (RHS) Proved.
=> 3 (p+7) =(p-6) 1
=> 3p + 21 = p - 6
=> 3p - p= - 6-21
=> 2p= -27
=> p= -27/2
Verifying:
LHS = p+7/p-6 =( -27/2 + 7)/(-27/2-6)
= (-13/2)/(-39/2)
= 13/39 =1/3 (RHS) Proved.
