The sum of the angles in triangles = 180

⇒ P + Q + R = 180

given R = 65 and Q = 25

⇒ P + 25 + 65 = 180

⇒ P = 180 - 90 = 90

⇒ PQR is a right angled triangle.

for the right angled triangle - PQR

QR is the hypotenuse and PR and PQ are other sides.

we know that by Pythagorean theoram:

(hypotenuse)² = sum of the squares of other two sides

⇒ QR² = PR² + PQ²
